Dr. Phil had a very informative show called “Bullied to Death”.  His recommendations were:  Parents Pay Attention.  Don’t leave your kids alone if you sense there is a problem.  Talk to them.

View this recent show based on what happened to Phoebe Prince that lead to her suicide.  Cyber Bullying can scar kids for life.

Bullying Has Been Around Forever-Internet Magnifies Problems

Bullying has been around forever. But the Internet and social networking sites give bullies easy access to a worldwide stage to spread rumors and make nasty comments about their targets. The internet magnifies this long time problem.

 

The story surrounding Phoebe Prince is a tragic one. Not only did this girl commit suicide, nine Massachusetts teens were indicted. 10 lives ruined.

 

According to the DOJ study, more than 43% of teenagers report being victims of cyber bullying.  You can’t help your kids if you don’t know that cyber bullying is taking place.
